Folsom Realtors® Lend a Hand Building Homes

It was a great day helping this beautiful family through Habitat for Humanity and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage with the beginning steps to building their home. We dug trenches today.

Tomorrow they will be putting in the forms for the footings.

This home is planned to be completed by mid September.

Cleaning Tips to help your home shine: Chrome...
When cleaning chrome, you must be very careful to use a non-abrasive cleaner. Chrome is usually a coating over another metal so you will want to be sure to not clean too deep.

House Cleaning Tips

Cleaning suggestions for chrome:

  • Clean with dishwasher soap and warm water. Apply with a toothbrush. Rinse and buff.
  • Sprinkle baking soda onto a sponge and rub gently on chrome. Rinse and dry.
  • Vinegar and cream of tarter mixture may work well on some chromes. Rinse and dry.
  • Try lime-away on faucets.
Do you have any tips that you have used to get chrome clean and shining again? Please share!
