Rates correspond with the bond market and change every 15 minutes.
Watch the stock market to see how it is doing.
Stay in contact with your lender. Your lender can help keep you informed.

Be sure to choose your lender wisely. Your Professional real estate agent should have at least three lenders that she can recommend for you to interview before selecting one.

Your Front Door Gives a First Impression

door to front of the house

Does your front door welcome visitors?

The first impression when someone comes to your home is the front door. Keep your entry area clean and in good condition.
Make a statement with the paint of your front door. Red, dark green or black are gold colors that stand out. Give your door a fresh coat of paint as needed depending on sun exposure.

Keep the door clean. Depending on the exposure to weather, I suggest cleaning your front door every other week. When you keep up with the dust, you can just wipe the door with a dry cloth. For a deeper clean, use a mixture of warm water and white vinegar or mild dish-washing liquid (only use 1 teaspoon to a gallon of water and be sure to rinse well).

Freshen up the hardware on your door. There are some cleaning products out there such as Maas metal cleaner. If you have glass or ceramic door knobs, just using rubbing alcohol.

Add color by the front door by including a couple of pots with large green evergreens and annuals around the base of the plant. Don’t clutter your front door by having multiple pots of plants. Less is more.

What does your front door look like right now?

Previews Home and Monopoly

In 1934, Previews celebrated their one year anniversary in spite of the times and what was going on in the United States. At the same time, Monopoly was becoming a popular household game played by many people dreaming of owning real estate and being a savvy investor. Through playing many Monopoly games, we were able to test our skills as a real estate investor.

A home that sold in 1934 such as Brichell Avenue in Miami would have sold for $125,000. Today that 3 acre parcel with bay views, would sell for 19.6 million dollars.

How many Monopoly games have you played over the years? Are you ready to be a real estate investor? I can help you with your dreams. I have savvy lenders and work with a dynamite team at Coldwell Banker that understands your needs and can find the right property for your real estate portfolio.
